My Why.

Easton Brouillette

Ever since I was a young I was told I influenced the energy on the field. Until recently I did not know what this meant. When you arrive with a purpose and engaged, people mirror you. When you hold eye contact with multiple people it helps spread the connection. Something is happening!

When you speak clearly and control your voice, it carries energy. Low and slow aids in the calm confidence. Loud and sharp when a big moment calls for it. But most importantly; when I paused, my words seemed to hold more weight.

Having began pitching lessons at 7-years old I was toughened by Kate Gaskill (University of Georgia, and Three60Softball owner). When I arrived to Texas at 9-years old I was developing my confidence and mound presence with the aid of Jenna Daniel (OKWU, and Jenna Daniel Pitching owner). My intentional body language while on the field was aiding my team in positive ways.

My mental toughness is my strong suit and I aim to help the next generation of young softballers. This is something I am good at. Something I excel at. Having had the opportunity at such at young at to compete at the highest of levels, in the toughest of tournaments has helped mold me into the mentor I aim to be. The way I aim to pay it forward.

This is my why... but Why?

Because I can.
